Since moving into my mobile home I have had one clear goal in mind. Make it look less like a mobile home (some can have outdated and just plain yucky stuff in them), and more like a comfy warm home. First on my list was this brass ceiling fan. Now I am definitely keeping the fan, can anyone say "hot Alabama summers":! But the brass just has to go buh bye. So out with the brass and in with the oil rubbed bronze VIA Rustoleum ahhhhhhhh. I added new globes and some yummie pull chains. Now it's all better and I'm on to the next challenge.

Looks really nice, I can't believe that is the same fan!
ReplyDeleteJust stumbled onto your blog via "TableTop Tuesday". I am totally intrigued in your process of redecorating your doublewide. I live in one too and my husband and I are very busy putting our touch on it and getting rid of all the 'doublewide' features. Hope you don't mind if I bookmark your blog and follow your progress. Feel free to visit me :)

It looks great, Teresa! Did you do it all by yourself? Nonetheless, I give you kudos! This is such a wonderful project. Now, I’m thinking of recoating my ceiling fan too. ;)
