Well here's my long planned guest bath reveal. I'm still not totally done but you'll see the huge difference. Now remember, I live in a mobile home, and there was work to do. We knew we could make it look sooooo much better so we went for it. The bathrooms were just horrible, plastic sinks, vinyl coated walls, outdated linoleum and laminate peeling cabinets. I'll show you some before pics so you can get the full effect, have a pail ready you just might upchuck. This is pretty embarrassing but what the heck, here goes......
Notice the lovely peeling stuff on the cabinet. |
Don't miss the awesome (not) light fixture |
Oh and this wall features one of a kind art, hmmmmm |
. Wow, I still can't believe I lived with this for any length of time at all. But it all went byebye and now it's just a bad dream. We torn out the old sink and cabinet and laid wood flooring over the linoleum. Did away with that ridiculous floor register that was RIGHT in FRONT of the sink, I still don't get that one. Next we put up beadboard with chair railing and crown molding. The walls were primed with kiltz over the vinyl wallpaper then painted with Valspar Stillness Blue. We also refaced the long cabinet with beadboard and trimmed it out. The finishing touch was a beautiful chandy. Here's the after pics.
Ahh, I can breathe now. I just need to spray the door knob with ORB |
I love the light and we also framed out the mirror. The tall cabinet including doors were refaced in | | beadboard |
I love the wood floor, don't let anyone tell you that you can't put wood in the bathroom. | |
I love this sink so much better than the old one. No comparison. |
These cute little shelves were a gift from my youngest daughter a couple of years ago. The ladies look so cute on them. |
This wall needed something but the bathroom is small and I didn't want it to look cluttered so this seemed like a great solution. It's flat against the wall and the saying fits the bathroom, ya' know water and all. |
Wow! Looks great! Love the wood floors. Diana from the Closet Crafter http://closetcrafterohio.blogspot.com/
