Some of you may remember our wonderful vintage tractor.
Well it runs like a charm and we love it! Apparently our resident praying mantis loves it too!
He (or she) rode on the hood of the tractor for over four hours today! He just roamed around and turned his little head to scan the landscape while my hubby (alias Farmer Toby) did his work.
The little cutie held on like he was having fun or something cuz the tractor was bouncing up and down but still he stayed put.
I wonder if he is the same one who hitched a ride inside on the Christmas decor last year, see him Here

Too Cute!! We had a Praying Mantis that hung out on our back screen door for most of the day yesterday. It was the first one that I had seen in years.
ReplyDeletehe was singing "take me for a ride on your big RED tractor......" lol
ReplyDeleteLove to watch a praying mantis. The way they wipe their mouth and keep themselves clean is fun to watch. My cousin once kept one in a jar and my aunt woke up the next morning to find it filled with baby ones!
ReplyDeleteLove the red tractor!
Blessings,
Tammy
Nature is something isn't it. Four hours the little thing must be tired. LOL.

That’s one mean looking tractor! I bet that one still has a kick. :D Be sure to protect that beast from the elements when not in use. Park or store it in a shed or garage, or if you can’t do this, it would be best to cover it with a tarp. Steering it clear from harsh weather will help keep it in good condition.
