Okay not the greatest post title but hey it's Monday and my brain is not working at full speed yet.
So I have this shutter, I painted it haphazardly with milk paint to make it look old. I stuck on a flower arrangement with a burlap bow now I don't know if it looks good or dumb?
I don't know about you but I have an idea in my head and the result doesn't come out exactly like I thought it would. So sometimes i just don't trust my judgement. This is one of those times. So I'm counting on you lovely ladies to be brutally honest with me. Yes, don't spare your words, just tell it like it is. Dumb or okay?
While I had the burlap out I stuck some in my pitcher and bowl on my new Heart Pine Table if you missed the post about making the table you can find it HERE.

Your post title made me laugh so hard that I had to come and read. This happens to me all the time and I find, when it does, I usually end up changing it because I can't get the thought out of my head that it might look dumb!

I agree! It's very pretty! Love how you made it look old! The flowers are pretty too. And burlap ....well, you can never go wrong with burlap :-)

Then...I think well, it might not look dumb, but I feel dumb for asking!!!
It's like I just chase my tail all day long! ...ha ha!
I am in love with all things 'shutters' right now and anything burlap. A little nature (flowers) doesn't hurt either.

I don't know why you doubted though as it sure looks pretty to me, as it did to the other comenters. And I'm pretty sure they would have been honest, since you asked them to. Like a girlfriend would.

No, I don't think it looks dumb. It's really pretty, and has lots of texture and visual interest...but I know what you mean. I ask myself the same thing with a lot of my "creations".
