I love greenery on a chandelier, there's something about the crystals and lights shining through the green branches that just makes me feel festive and brings me one step closer to creating a magical Christmas.
I just cut some hanging branches from our tree in the front yard and fed them through the arms of the chandy.
But it wasn't quite right ....
I needed to add some color, the color red of course.
Now it looks like a magical dreamy Christmas Chandy and the best part was the decor was all provided by the Lord, natural, organic and beautiful.

Isaiah 60:13
13 The glory of Lebanon shall come unto thee, the fir tree, the pine tree, and the box together, to beautify the place of my sanctuary; and I will make the place of my feet glorious.
I also decided to add some red berries to my little reindeer on the mantel from yesterday's post.

This is gorgeous Theresa. I actually started to do this to mine the other day and then changed my mind. Now that I've seen yours, I may have to go cut some more cedar and go for it! What type of berries are those? We have some Holly trees around our woods but the berries are more orange than red. Have a wonderful week!

I really like that reindeer.
ReplyDeleteHi Teresa,
ReplyDeleteYour Chandy looks beautiful. So simple and pretty love that you could use all natural to make this pretty statement. Have a great week.

Oh- I love that, too, Teresa. There is nothing like lights shining through greenery to put me in the spirit. I hope to decorate this week. I am so far behind it isn't funny. xo Diana
ReplyDeleteThe chandeliers look so pretty. I wanted to do ours but with just finishing up it will have to wait for next year

Alright now! Beautiful chandelier. Obviously I have missed some of your stories, because I had not seen your dining chairs and other changes! The room is just beautiful. I love it.

How gorgeous! Makes me want to rip out my light fixtures and replace them all asap so I can decorate them up. LOL
