Ok lets just say it right off the get go, I'm crazy. Yep after all the fussing and primping of the mantel yesterday I started second guessing myself, I do that alot when it comes to decorating. If you missed yesterday's post you can see it HERE
I started thinking hmmmm that garland concoction might look really good somewhere else......hmmm.
So I asked my husband his opinion and he gave me his usual, "whatever you like honey" which was no help whatsoever!
So I disassembled the whole shebang and RE+ decorated the mantel.....
With a couple of lighted topiaries and my little white reindeer.
This pic was before I added some greenery that I cliped off our outside tree.
So what did I do with the garland?
It ended up on the Farmhouse Table.
I added some blue and white cups and saucers.
This coffee pot is from my mother in law, it's very old and I love it.
Signing off now as I'm exhausted from all thisredecorating decorating.

Looks nice I like that little reindeer!
ReplyDeleteDecorating sure can be exhausting! But I have just a little home now, and it doesn't take long at all. I love all your Christmas decor!

Looks good Teresa. Sometimes it take a few tries to get it where you want it. Been there done that lol! It looks so pretty. Love the garland relocated to your farmhouse table too.

Well that garland as a runner down the table... looks wonderful.
ReplyDeleteI like that mantel too!
Has a more magical Christmas feel to it!
sweet.
Very pretty, Teresa! I love what you wound up doing on your mantel. The lighted topiaries add such a nice look.

ReplyDeleteTeresa- It looks gorgeous. I like it both ways but the last one is really "fresh" looking!!! That little deer is so sweet. I do the same thing with 2nd guessing myself, too. xo Diana
ReplyDeleteIt's all beautiful! Thanks for sharing--and re-sharing! Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteLooks lovely, Teresa! I love those dishes poked into your garland. I have a huge set of the Currier and Ives dishes. I love them.
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Teresa, I really like what you did with both spaces. Your farmhouse table is very pretty. I like having old pieces, they tell a story.

Very pretty, Teresa! Glad I'm not the only one who redoes the decor several times! I just call it "auditioning" a piece (or a whole vignette) in a particular setting... Love your use of plates and cups on the dining room tablescape. Marvelous! Merry Christmas to you! Catherine (latest follower of your blogging adventures!) :)
