A Little Update on our New Home

Hello friends, we finally retrieved our furniture from Alabama and I've been busy unpacking boxes.

Toby is regaining his strength and we will be going back for more scans soon.
I want to thank you for your prayers and sweet emails during my absence from blogging.
I think about all of you so often and someday hope to get back in to blogging regularly, time will tell.

But for now I just wanted to give you a little update on our new home in Texas. I'm calling it our 'Cabin in the Trees' since it backs up to a national forest.
I've done a small bit of decorating to make it feel like home and wanted to share the pics with y'all.
This is the entry area in the living room. I kind of mixed and matched some furniture pieces here.
I had to be creative because our new home is so much smaller than our Alabama home and not everything fits the way it used to.

The lamp is from Hobby Lobby and gave me a space to add some decor inside, fun.

This is the area behind the loo, there are no windows in the master bathroom so I added my own.

Stay tuned for some BIG changes in the kitchen area, (HINT) it involves painting hehe.

Thank you for stopping by and God Bless you all. See you soon.

  1. Oh, I am so happy that Toby is doing well. Know that there is a lot of working settling into your new home, but it looks like you have a handle on it.

I pray for Toby every night and so happy with your update.

  2. Thank you so much for updating. I've been thinking and praying for you and Toby and will continue to do so. I like your decorating decisions. I know all to well what it's like to have to move into a new space and try and make your furniture fit. My husband and I moved 22 times with the military. I can't wait to see what you do with the kitchen! Have a great week!

    1. Thank you Ann for your faithful prayers, they mean so much to us. 22 times???? Wow, that makes me tired just thinking about it. One thing the moving did is make me declutter and that's a good thing.
