I love It When Decorating is FREE

The topiaries were almost free except for the container. I had the greenery, the twig stems were from the yard, added some moss and there you have it! The coffee filter wreath was made from what else? coffee filters from my kitchen, just added a foam wreath form.

I wanted to add some extra height to my mantel and give it just a tiny bit of a Fall feel. I also didn't want to spend any money. So again out to the yard I went. I found some great little twigs. I just cut them a little and added them to my blue mason jars.

 Some more twigs added to the table around the cloches.

 Totally free and it adds some texture. I like it!

It's Definitely Fall In Alabama

No humidity these days and the nights are dipping into the 50's so it's time to put out the Fall decor!

Welcome cooler weather and less bugs, it's my favorite time of year.

 This plant is so striking, it's called Celosia, also known as Rooster Comb in Spain :)

 Fall on the Porch

 I found this cute little wheel barrow at the flea market recently and knew exactly what I was going to do with it.

 I love the color of this coleus and they're so easy to grow.

The leaves are starting to fall, the chestnuts and pecans are dropping all over the place so life is good.

Dreaming of Fall

Another HOT day is winding down but it's still 95 degrees at 7pm ugh!

I'm longing for the cooler days of Autumn with that crisp aroma in the air.

I have visions of pumpkins swirling in my head.

I can't wait to change my Summer Wreath to a colorful Fall wreath.

My plants are needing watering twice a day in this heat.

Can't wait to kick the leaves around and yes, I enjoy raking them too.

But for now, I'll just have to run the air, drink some iced cold sweet tea and count down the days.
